What You’ll Do
The Studio Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Program and Operations Team in the administration and logistics of Membership and Classes to ensure efficient operation of the studio. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of our 8-week cycle classes including creating and modifying schedules, student registration, addressing instructor needs, reviewing scholarship applications and onboarding recipients. The Studio Coordinator oversees all the administrative aspects of our membership program which include inviting and onboarding members, working with the finance team on invoicing, and sending membership satisfaction surveys. The Studio Coordinator is the subject matter expert on all administrative duties (e.g., scheduling, electronic file maintenance, scanning, typing, copying) and whose work includes coordinating events and workshops with our Program Director, supporting our Executive Director and our Board, maintaining all forms of communications with our staff, members, and instructors, and handling sensitive data with confidentiality. This position requires punctuality, reliability, adaptability, and the ability to always maintain a professional demeanor, regardless of circumstances.
Who You Are
We are seeking a friendly, energetic candidate that has the following knowledge, skills, and abilities in their toolkit:
- High school diploma or GED issued by an accredited institution.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a nonprofit, arts, or educational environment.
- Willingness and ability to learn and master new technologies and software, as needed.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in iOS.
- Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Microsoft 365, POS systems, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, Squarespace, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
- Excellent people skills; relates well on the phone and in person; demonstrates patience, kindness, and tact in all interactions with Members, Students, and Staff.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task; strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Be comfortable as a multi-tasker and can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Show initiative and have a positive attitude to doing assigned tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, and to stay focused under pressure.
- Ability to work outside typical hours on occasion.

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Requirements
This position performs its duties in an open office environment with no climate control settings. You must be able to perform the following duties with or without accommodation:
- Stand, sit, kneel, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift.
- Able to operate standard office equipment including computers, keyboard, phones, POS machines, and printers.
- Traverse safely throughout the entirety of the facility including climbing stairs.
- Safely lift, move, and transport items weighing up to 25 lbs in and out of vehicles.
- Communicate in a clear speaking voice in person, over the phone and during video conferences.
- Complete COVID-19 primary vaccination series and most recent vaccination booster available.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a regular full-time, non-exempt position scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend events with advanced notice. The starting rate of pay is $24.00 - $27.00 per hour ($49,920 - $56,160 annualized) with an initial 90-day evaluation/review period.
