CT Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment. Your expertise in sonography, CT scanning, and medical imaging will be crucial in providing accurate and high-quality images for diagnosis. Duties:
- Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during the scan
- Operate CT equipment to capture detailed images of the patient's anatomy
- Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and well-being
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze scan results
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan details, and any adverse reactions
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:
- Valid certification as a CT Technologist
- Previous experience working in an ER or hospital setting preferred
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related software
- Familiarity with X-ray, PET scans, and other medical imaging techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Salary: $107,000.00 - $112,963.00 per year
