Job title : Payroll Tax Coordinator
Looking for: (payroll Specialist/Tax Specialist)

Location Hybrid – Conshohocken, PA (Hybrid)

Position : 3-6 M Contract( temp to perm conversion.)

Must have Tax experience

Primary Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Completes and remits new account registration forms to taxing jurisdictions.
  • Prepares and reconciles payroll monthly tax impound journal entry.
  • Handles escalated tax tracers and communicates with taxing authorities to resolve account issues.
  • Perform all year end reconciliations to ensure Wage Statements and tax filings are accurate.
  • Assists with the reconciliation of payroll general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Follows up on newly applied for state accounts and updates Third Party vendors of new account information SUI rates, etc.
  • Perform periodic and quarterly tax reconciliations to ensure tax filings are correct.
  • Audits Tax accounts for activity and coordinates with Payroll Tax Coordinator to close any inactive accounts.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Tax Department when opening new local and state tax accounts.
  • Communicates with Cencora partners and external parties regarding tax or payroll issues.
  • Assists in updating tax accounts related to mergers, consolidations, and divestitures.
  • Assists in filing tax returns and amendments that cannot be filed by third party vendor.
  • Participate in Year End Activity as needed.

Experience And Educational Requirements:

  • business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge And Ability Requirements:

  • Good understanding of payroll tax and payroll processing software programs, preferably ADP Enterprise
  • Working knowledge of general ledger accounting
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Payroll Tax: 1 year (Required)
  • ADP: 2 years (Required)
  • payroll/new account registration/general ledger accounting: 2 years (Required)
