Job Description:

Lead Safety & Reliability Engineer 

The Lead Safety & Reliability Engineer will:

  • Safety Analysis / Fault Tree / Functional Hazard Assessment
  • Fleet Risk assessments / Weibull analysis
  • Reliability Test Program Development and Execution
  • Failure Modes Effects Analysis
  • Root Cause and Corrective Action Investigation
  • Reliability allocations, predictions and assessments
  • Develop maintainability program / procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 7-10 years of experience in safety or reliability
  • Must have good working knowledge of electro-mechanical components
  • The qualified candidate must have experience in system safety analysis and reliability disciplines, including system safety analyses, reliability testing, failure mode effects analysis, failure investigations, reliability predictions, trend analysis and assessments
  • Must also be able to assess system designs for maintainability and be able to develop work instructions
  • Must be proficient in use of Microsoft office tools and Weibull analysis
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.  Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Position is a full time, onsite work. No hybrid or remote. 

Relocation is offered. Company is located in Pontiac, MI.
