The Prospective Group (TPG) is looking for a Data Inventory Analyst that has a strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is detail oriented, and organized to work on the Department of State contract under the Center for Analytics. The Center for Analytics (CfA) is the U.S. Department of State’s official enterprise data management and analytics capability. CfA transforms data into bold insights that help over 75,000 employees – from working-level to the Secretary – make better management and foreign policy decisions.
Position Responsibilities:
This role will be focused on coordinating responses to the Department’s Data Inventory tasker.
The tasker includes:
1) Data Steward Identification.
2) Responding to a sensitive data categorization survey.
3) Providing descriptive information around every Bureau’s data asset.
The individual will be responsible for analyzing the input and metadata provided by bureaus, and potentially building some sort of non-complex bureau compliance scorecard.
Position Requirements:
- Strong communications skills.
- Comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiar with the Agile methodology (scrum master experience preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to engage with the client leadership team at the CfA around progress, risks, and issues.
- 2 years of experience in general data analyst activities.
