What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at The Purple Guys?
As the Project Manager, you will be focused on the overall success and health of our client's Onboarding process. You’ll coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure tasks are clearly identified and completed in accordance with established goals/objectives and schedules. The position is highly client-facing and as such requires outstanding communication and client service skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Client Service
- Lead multiple Client Onboarding projects to ensure timely completion of projects
- Create projects plans that meet client needs and internal achievements. Gather client-specific requirements for each contracted service
- Leverage existing methods & procedures to facilitate consistent & repeatable results across the team
- Track project, metrics, and status reporting for customer implementation projects
- Be accountable for the health and successful implementation of client onboardings with the ability to identify significant risks and defining and driving resolution plans
- Maintain exceptional client service, understanding client satisfaction, and perception
- Track project, metrics, and status reporting for customer implementation projects
- Drive process improvements to streamline the Onboarding process and provide a higher value to our clients
Professional Development
- Routinely take self-paced training in technologies relevant to the team
- Open to obtaining PMP Certification and other industry certifications on a consistent basis
Administrative
- Enter all notes and time worked on the appropriate service ticket
- Schedule onboardings via scheduling calendar in ConnectWise
- Enter expenses on service tickets for any related credit card purchases and submit receipts daily
- Submit time sheets on a weekly basis, due by Saturdays at 12P

Education and/or Experience
- 3-5 years experience in a Project Management, Implementation Manager or Customer Success role within a fast-paced MSP/IT Industry or environment
- Proven history managing projects for clients and external partners
- Diligent with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain and keep track of multiple information sources
- College or Technical degree OR 4 years of Project Management experience
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate professionally, in English, both written and orally
- Ability to write business correspondence and process procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid Driver’s License
- PMP Certification or desire to obtain certification long term
Salary : $72,400 - $91,700
