We are a leader in the automotive detailing industry providing education, quality content, & weekly podcasts through our state-of-the-art media studio. We are primarily an e-commerce-based business with a strong presence on Amazon.com in addition to our own retail and wholesale websites.

Job Brief

The Web Content & E-Commerce Specialist will contribute to the overall ongoing growth and maintenance of our Amazon.com, retail, and wholesale websites. As a Web Content & E-Commerce Specialist you will be providing essential support to our Director of E-Commerce Systems by assisting with the creation and maintenance of product listings, backend data updates, & basic system maintenance as needed. Additionally, as your skill set continues to grow you will be provided with opportunities to train on how to properly implement, configure, and maintain inventory, shipping, and other E-Commerce related backend systems!

Bottom line - We are looking for our next long-term E-Commerce Content & Systems Wizard!

Key Responsibilities

Initial and Main Responsibilities (75%)

  • Create and maintain basic Amazon.com and website product listings.
  • Update product listing backend data such as titles, descriptions, pricing, weights, and dimensions, etc.
  • Create and maintain products within our inventory system.
  • Work with our media department to assist with website preparation and launch of sales, promotions, new products, etc.

Secondary Responsibilities with Additional Training (25%)

  • Learn and assist with the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of our internal E-Commerce systems.
  • Learn and assist with advanced configuration and maintenance of our Amazon.com presence across multiple marketplace regions.
  • Learn and assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to a variety of E-Commerce front and back-end systems.
  • Learn and assist with basic back-end website scripting.
  • Work closely with Customer Care team to identify, resolve, and improve sales channel or system issues impacting the customer’s shopping experience.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

The Basics

  • Position is on-site 40 hours per week.
  • Proficient with general Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Extreme attention to detail and consistency is a plus!
  • High level of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation, with the ability to meet expected delivery deadlines.
  • Ability to clearly and confidently articulate thoughts, present ideas, and author professional communications
  • Experience with website data entry and/or ongoing maintenance.
  • Experience with online retail environments (Shopify / Amazon / Etc.)

Would Love to See

  • Experience with basic front-end website coding and simple scripting (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Etc.)
  • Proven experience in implementing, managing, and maintaining all aspects of popular E-Commerce sales channels (BigCommerce, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or similar)
  • In-depth understanding of managing and maintaining many aspects of inventory management systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NetSuite, Dear Systems, Cin7, Fishbowl, or similar)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant area of study
  • Previous employment in a similar “jack of all trades” E-Commerce Content / Systems type role
