The ITBusiness Quality Analyst (BQA) works as a member of a Software development scrum team. This individual is part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process from beginning to end. At the start, the BQA is working with operations management to understand business needs, formulating a strategy for achieving key objectives and deliverables. The BQA identifies and defines problems and drives resolution focused the root cause.This role is a member of a project team that designs, documents, develops and delivers business solutions that have a direct impact on the Company's performance.
Hours: Day shift, 40-hour work weeks. Flexible schedule options available between 7am - 7pm after six months of employment.
Setting: Professional office environment. (Local hybrid schedule with remote option available outside a 70-mile radius from La Grange, KY).

Responsibilities
- Create business requirements, user stories and documentation for the scrum team to deliver a final product that satisfies business objectives and user expectations.
- Create and participate in the testing strategy.
- Identify and document problems utilizing root cause analysis, and prioritize potential solutions based on risk and impact. Validate the recommended solutions.
- Create training materials associated with deliverables.
- Communicate with a broad range of staff to understand requirements and issues, as well as to share updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business, technology, or related field
- Experience gathering requirements and creating user stories
- Experience writing and executing test cases
- Experience creating SQL queries
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Excellent communication, time-management, and task prioritization skills
- Ability to build and maintain solid working relationships across the organization
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to change
Physical Requirements
- Frequently remains sitting for extended periods of time while performing tasks
- Frequently uses visual and auditory senses for extended periods of time
- Frequently uses computer peripherals requiring the use of hands and fingers
- Frequently works in a well-lit climate-controlled environment
- Occasional movement is required to interact with colleagues
