What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Psychologist position at The Real Work?
The Real Work is a growing collective child and family therapy practice owned by Rebekah
Springs, LMFT, RPT. We are expanding our group to include a psychologist/PsyD to provide clinical assessments, including ADOS assessments.
About The Position
We are looking for a seasoned clinician who is neurodiversity affirming and who is excited to be part of a growing practice with a niche in play therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and working with neurodivergent children and teens.
We provide telehealth and in-person, and you get to discuss your preferences with us based on your desires for a sustainable caseload that meets your needs.
Hours/Schedule
Part or full-time, based on your goals as a clinician. Schedule can be flexible; Clinician can choose to provide services in-person, telehealth, or a hybrid.
Compensation:
Percentage of billable clinical hours. Please inquire regarding our percentage splits, as they vary and are tiered based on licensure and experience. As this is a collective practice and you would be in independent contractor, our percentage offered to clinicians is higher than industry standard.
Qualifications:
- Master's level degree in counseling, psychology or related field.
- Current unrestricted license or intern/associate registration
(LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyA, PsyD, Phd.) in Oregon.
- Clinical specialty or certifications in the areas of child and family work
- Maintain your own professional liability insurance.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) required prior to start date.

- Depending on your preferences, you will have access to our office and therapy rooms in Southwest Portland (individual and telehealth room, sensory room for children, and Play Therapy room designed by a Registered Play Therapist. We also have space for groups to be held, if this is something you are hoping to offer.

COVID-19 considerations:
Large percentage of sessions are performed remotely at client and therapist's discretion. Daily sanitization procedures in place. All clients and clinicians required to wear a mask, air purifiers and ventilation systems in place.
