The Luxury Consignment Executive is a key sales position at The RealReal. You’ll use your strong negotiation skills to drive new business while working autonomously in an ever-evolving environment. Your ability to build rapport will be critical to your success alongside a focus on driving the key metrics of the business through new consignor acquisition, and working with a repeat consignor base. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and can adapt to shifting priorities to achieve and exceed sales goals. What You Get To Do Every Day
- Drive New Business
- Prospect new and existing connections. These include Stylists, personal shoppers, boutique owners, sales associates, and individual consignors
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to continually increase consignment with The RealReal
- Drive Repeat Business
- Work within existing consignor base to drive additional product and categories
- Drive a luxury consignment experience which encourages retention of consignors through relationship selling
- Meet the monthly goals for the market while maintaining focus on premier luxury product
- Meet or exceed goals for your geographic market via self-generated corporate leads
- Maintain base of repeat clients provide an outstanding customer experience
- Outreach daily to new and existing clients (50-100 per day) driving the referral business
- Attend client appointments (typically less than 60 miles one way - mileage reimbursed)
- Review Contract during In-Home Appointments
- Customer Service Issue Resolution
- Proactively resolve any consignor issues/concerns
- Set pricing expectations through deep knowledge of luxury and stay up-to-date on resale trends what has low/high resale value
- Carefully review process all items for shipment to ensure everything is cataloged up to TRR’s high-quality standards
- Possess a strong ability to multitask
- Balance appointments, outreach, prospecting and customer service issues
- Availability evenings and weekends, to accommodate appointment requests
What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of work experience in sales, ecommerce, or tech
- Motivated by a desire to win and excel, competitive
- Ability to build rapport, establish trust, provide empathy and build credibility with clients quickly
- Efficiency and strong organizational, time management and communication skills
- Ability to use technological tools with ease G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM
- Ability to commit to 40 hours per week and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs
- Reliable transportation for travel to client appointments
- Ability to work in the field 50-60%

The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
