The Recovery Center of Ohio’s mission is to help individuals reclaim their lives from the disease of addiction to alcohol and other drugs and to reduce the incidence of addiction in future generations. We are an agency committed to quality gender-responsive, trauma-informed care to clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. We are looking for a highly dedicated and motivated individual to be the Assistant Housing Director. Duties and responsibilities include:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists the Regional Housing Director in all aspects of housing for assigned area(s).
  • Ensures that all rules are being followed by the Resident Assistants in each house of assigned area.
  • Is available to respond to critical and emergency situations that may occur within the houses.
  • Perform house inspections to ensure cleanliness
  • Report daily to the Regional Housing Director of any issues within the houses
  • Assist the Resident Assistants with client requests and incidents

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • In recovery for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to complete Peer Support Specialist training within 90 days and obtain certification
