Responsibilities:
The Operations Director will be responsible to oversee Aspire Day school and the day to day operations of The Recovery Center of Ohio and 5 locations to include (recovery houses), transportation services, ancillary support services, community outreach and marketing, strategic partnerships and advancement, staff productivity, personnel acquisition, hiring and terminating as needed and some light budgeting and report forecasting with center based leadership and the Executive Team.
The Operations Director will work effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:
- Works with center directors, supervisors, and corporate staff to coordinate activities of the multiple departments.
- Review performance data as indicated to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
- Ensure development, implementation and follow through with compliance activities as it relates to accreditation standards and licensing regulations, including client rights.
- Establish, implement, and maintain departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with Corporate leadership.
- Ensure timely staff orientation, education and supervision.
- Work with Corporate leadership to determine staffing requirements, and interview candidates, as needed. Work closely with the HR and Credentialing departments to ensure criminal history and credential background checks have been reviewed and verified.
- Establishes clear lines of responsibility and accountability within direct reporting departments.
- Provides facility reporting information to appropriate Leadership, as indicated.
- Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure and well maintained.
- Address payroll concerns with Ohio staff and report concerns up to Executive Management
- Establish and maintain liaison relationships and communication with facility staff, service providers, support service providers, community resources and clients.
- Ensure that admission interviews with clients are conducted in accordance with the facility’s policies and procedures
- Ensure the Company’s policies and procedures for emergency services and situations are followed.
- Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed including, but not limited to infection prevention and boundaries with clients.
- Assume role of Safety Officer for the Ohio market ensuring compliance in all house, offices, vehicles, etc.
- Ensure plans of correction, licensing deficiencies and complaint reports are addressed as required by the State’s Licensing Agency in a timely manner. Both internal and external plan of corrections.
- Progressive discipline for behavioral and performance related issues.
- Assist with employee relations issues as they arise.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years of full time, or full time equivalent, administrative or supervisor experience in a licensed substance abuse disorders treatment facility OR
- Master's Degree with two (2) years of full time, or full time equivalent, administrative or supervisory experience is a licensed substance abuse disorders treatment facility OR
- 10 years’ experience as a Director as defined below.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
