Job Title: Membership Coordinator/Admin Assistant

Department: Administrative & General (A&G)

Reports to: General Manager (GM)

Job Summary: The Membership Coordinator/Administrative Assistant will develop and implement programs and activities designed to increase and retain membership at Redding Country Club. The individual serves members and guests by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately, both in person and over the phone. They will also provide administrative support to the General Manager and other club management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Membership

a. Monitor Membership mailbox for inquiries received via email or website submission and provide digital or physical prospective member packets to interested parties

b. Act as initial contact for prospective members and maintain prospective member pipeline

c. In conjunction with Membership Chair/Committee, plans and implements strategies to meet club membership goals

d. Conducts tours and provides information regarding membership

e. Assists prospective members through application process

f. Organizes production of marketing material including membership kits, social media and postcard campaigns, newspaper articles, etc.

g. Follows up with new members after 30 days, 6 months, and 1 year to ensure they are acclimating to the Club; relays pertinent feedback to the General Manager

2. _ Administrative_

a. Operate telephone switchboard; answers the telephone, transfers calls to proper extensions, takes messages for members and staff

b. Greets members and guests

c. Accept dining reservations; coordinate with Chef, F&B Manager, and Assistant Manager

d. Process food take-out orders

e. Provide basic club information to members and guests

f. Maintain a clean and orderly front desk and lobby area

g. Works on special projects as assigned

3. Additional duties and responsibilities

a. Act as an ambassador to the Club

b. Participate in appropriate management meetings

c. Assist members with special requests

d. Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

1. Friendly and outgoing personality is essential while maintaining professionalism

2. Keep an appropriate and conservative appearance

3. Exceptional communication, organization, and planning skills

4. Computer knowledge including Windows, Microsoft, and Outlook.

5. Able to work well with others and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation

Salary and Benefits:

1. Salary commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
