Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of Toast POS system is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain cash register balance
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Basic math skills for handling cash, calculating bills, and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
