Responsibilities & Highlights :

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.
• Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest.
• This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc.

from storage area to meeting rooms

• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.
• Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
• Comply with regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Event Support Experts will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance)
