DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

for

The Resource Connection of Amador & Calaveras Counties, Inc.

Your responsibility and duties will be developing, implementing and measuring the effectiveness of a sustainable fundraising and marketing strategy to increase The Resource Connection's revenue stream.

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

• 
  Direct organization's fundraising, stewardship, donor development, communications and brand management efforts.
• Develop and implement marketing and communication plans and strategies including, social media marketing, public relations, media relations, website content, communication/resource development materials, on-line giving, digital communications, key messaging, storytelling, and brand management.
• Initiate new ways to generate revenue by building and expanding network of donors
• Produce compelling written materials including grants, reports, and collateral

Regular Part-Time Position: 20 hours per week

Pay Range: $ 28.85 - $33.65

Desired Education and Experience:

• BA/BS Degree preferred. Significant experience may be accepted in lieu of education
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in development, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field
• Strong relational and administrative skills with a proven ability to work well with teams and independently
• Expertise in strategy, planning, fund development and communications
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills including facilitation and public speaking
• Demonstrated accomplishment in grant writing, special events, major gift acquisition, planned giving preferred.

Special Requirements:

• Valid California Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
• COVID-19 vaccine required or weekly testing
• Criminal background clearance
• Willingness and ability to work irregular hours, attend night meetings and travel as company business requires
