Dishwasher

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Focus on cleanliness of the kitchen including but not limited to equipment, food prep areas, and dish area.  Wash dishes and glassware for all corporate and social events. Keep the dish washing station and equipment clean and organized. Keep the dishwasher in clean and working order. Restock items in appropriate places.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Uphold the high standards of 24 Carrots’ handbook and policies
2. Represent and uphold the 24 Carrots core values: Trustworthiness, Collaboration, Service Excellence and Dedication
3. Organize, clean and stock warehouse items
4. Stay on task and work effectively
5. Maintain safety and organization in the warehouse
6. Wash all dishes for all corporate and social events
7. Clean dish washing station at end of each shift
8. Replace all cleaning supplies and soaps for the dish washing machine
9. Change water in the dish washing machine three times during each shift
10. Bag and polish flatware
11. Restock items
12. Take mandatory 30 minute lunch break when working anything over 6 hours or notify supervisor
13. Sort and sift through crates of glass and China items to search for shards and broken items.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

1. No prior experience or training required
2. ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

1. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
2. Ability to write simple correspondence
3. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

1. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

REASONING ABILITY

1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
2. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

2. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but there will be cases where the noise level is loud
3. This position occasionally requires flexibility to start shift earlier and end shift later on little to no notice

UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
All uniform items should be clean, and in good condition free from tears, stains or fading, and meet all the requirements below: 

1. 24 Carrots provided grey 24 Carrots Polo or 24 Carrots T-Shirt
2. Black pants or black jeans- must be solid black, straight leg, with no pinstripes or patterns
3. Footwear must be solid black, comfortable, and slip resistant. Your shoes must be kept clean and in good condition
