Are you skilled at scouting and qualifying vendor partners for filed service installations? THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking a New Vendor Relations Lead to serve as a lead in scouting and identifying new vendor partner relationships for services in low voltage and electrical fields. This role will serve as the main point of contact for interfacing with new prospects, reviewing capacities, and selling the company brand.

New Vendor Engagement and Prequalification including harvesting through various creative avenues and potential vendor prospects for interview consideration, cold calling and conducting vendor prospect interviews with a high focus on ensuring the prospect is a right fit for the Company. Also, tracking vendors through the process, developing strong working knowledge of and relationships with the vendor partners, coordinating and communicating with internal stakeholders, and being an ambassador of the Company and brand.
Vendor Management including assisting with issue escalations specific to vendor partners - working to find a common and fair resolution, develop new partner retention strategy - then implementing and executing, participating in vendor coaching opportunities, and other vendor management related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Associate degree in IT, Procurement, Construction or Operations related discipline
- Minimum 5 years required of related experience in Vendor Management
- Sales related experience
- Field Labor Management Experience
- Material procurement experience
- Ability to sell and communicate effectively
- Broad understanding of IT industry
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and strong communication (verbal and written) skills
- Any relevant certifications a plus
