The River Merchant in Kent, OH is looking for a part time barback or full time barback/general support staff to join our Bar Team for the summer patio season. Our establishment is located at 911 North Mantua Street in Kent, Ohio, featuring a seasonal patio overlooking the Cuyahoga River.. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, hard-working and takes initiative in providing tailored personal service to our guests.


Responsibilities

  • Warmly Greet Guests Fill Water Glasses
  • Clean and maintain bartender's tools
  • Communicate Guest Needs to Bartender
  • Bus and Pre-Bus Bar Top/ Tables
  • Empty Bus Bins
  • Restock Bar Products
  • Change kegs
  • Clean and polish glassware
  • General Bar Preparation


Qualifications

  • Credible Restaurant/Food Service Experience
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Quick work pace for a fast environment
  • Ability to assess station needs and act accordingly
  • Great spoken communication
  • Ability to lift liquor cases and ice buckets
