Job Summary: Provides direct supervision of all patient services staff; coordinates care services. Collaborates with HHA staff to ensure the submission of accurate OASIS data and assists with reconciling errors. Contributes to operational process development. Represents department on committees as requested. May serve as the Alternate Director of Clinical Services. A person who is a licensed physician, physical therapist. speech-language pathologist. occupational therapist. audiologist. social worker, or a Registered Nurse.
Timely Reviews oasis, recommends any necessary changes to the assessing RN; Sends oasis to coders, Reviews Plan of care and signs to be sent to the physician. Manages infection control reports, complaint forms, and request for days off for Field staff. Coordinates with the DCS any complaints and staffing issues. Manages the first line of customers.
Services including Patients, families, referral sources, and Physicians. Works closely with the Sales team through proper communication. Follows HIPPA guidelines as required by regulatory agencies. Reviews of Clinical documentation for proper medical necessity, homebound, and treatment rendered. Educates field staff as required to keep documentation up to professional standards. Works in a collaborative manner and encourages team building in all behaviors and communication.
