What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist position at The Robison Group?
The Robison Group is actively seeking an energetic, organized and professional Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist will provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under their control.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Print and process daily invoices and enter them into QuickBooks
- Track and manage receivables over 30 days
- Balance and manage the breakdown
- Enter invoices into different client databases for payment
- Process payments through various payment methods
- Process bills and pay them weekly
- Process and pay out bi-weekly expense reports
- Process and pay out multiple state sales tax returns
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Prepare and deliver bank deposits
- Run errands upon request
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a PLUS
- Knowledge of multiple state sales tax a PLUS
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Qualifications:
- Two years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
- Must be able to pass a QuickBooks and Excel test during the hiring process.

Schedule:
- In office Monday through Friday 8a-5p with a one-hour lunch.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly rate is based on education and experience.
