TITLE: ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - (Corporate and Transactional)
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our client's corporate and transactional team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a strong background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional matters. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with clients, partners, and other team members to provide legal advice, draft legal documents, and contribute to the successful execution of client transactions
Responsibilities:
- Client Counseling: Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters.
- Transaction Support: Assist in the negotiation, structuring, and execution of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
- Document Drafting: Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents.
- Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence reviews and assessments to identify potential legal issues and risks.
- Legal Research: Stay current on relevant legal developments and conduct research to support client matters.
- Compliance: Ensure clients' compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on matters and address any concerns.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with partners and team members to deliver high-quality legal services and meet client expectations
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing in NJ, NY or PA.
- Three (3 ) years of experience in corporate and transactional law experience in a reputable law firm.
Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
