What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The Rodeo Bar?
We are looking to add an enthusiastic beertender to provide a one of a kind guest drinking experience in our family run bar. A good beertender will be able to create classic feel with a new approach to the guest experience. We are a small local spot that has been a fixture in this town since 1954. We are centered around making all guests, new and known, feel like family. Compensation includes hourly and tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar guests
- Interact with guests, take orders, prepare and serve small bites and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Craft beer knowledge preferred, but not required
- Computer literacy
- Ability to present the bar menu
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant Serve Safe and ABC Server Training certs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
