Position Summary:
Develops and maintains the community’s clinical schedule under direction of Area Clinical Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Develop the initial monthly clinical schedule for each community and ensure all shifts are filled for the month. Have this developed and posted at least 10 days prior to start date.
Review clinical applications for Resident Service Director to ensure Medication Aide applicants are certified. Provide these applications to the RSDs at each community based on needs.
Review staffing patterns monthly with Executive Directors and makes adjustment based on census.
Provides care staff coverage as needed when unable to fill a shift when a call out arises
Maintains attendance records, track and log attendance for all clinical staff.
Participate in all in-service programs to expand and develop abilities.
Maintains compliance to all personnel policies, established community policies and procedures, and Federal and State regulations and standards, including but not limited to HIPAA privacy and confidentiality laws.
Provides direct resident care as needed based on the needs of the community. Functions as a caregiver when assigned including monitoring and responding to resident call response system.
Develops and maintains courteous and professional relationships with residents, visitors, and co-workers.
Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality) with no restrictions.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position falls under the Area Clinical Director but is expected to perform without close supervision and exercise good judgment.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
Certificate in good standing on file with the appropriate Department of Health and current CNA Certificate required.
One year experience in a senior living setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Language Ability:
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, speaking the primary language of the residents.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Cognitive Demands:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills required.

Environmental Adaptability:
Works primarily indoors in a climate controlled setting.

Continuous exposure to residents who are ill, confused, irritable and irrational.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand and walk. The team member is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The team member is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 200 pounds with assistance of a second team member and/or mechanical devices. Must be able to push up to 350 lb. (wheelchair). The team member may occasionally be required to lift greater than 200 pounds with the assistance of additional staff and/or a mechanical lift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
