The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Seymour, IN facility. As a Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for coordinating the maintenance and repairing of a wide variety of production or processing machines and equipment with minimal downtime. Involves checking, setting up and operating various types of production tools and equipment prior to approving for production use.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
- Reports to Operations Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes available
- Monitors warranties and service guarantees. Notify personnel of impending expiration dates
- Manage the MVP Maintenance Program
- Conduct selective inventory monthly of maintenance parts and supplies
- Locate manufacturers and after-market distributors to obtain competitive costs on parts and service
- Order parts and supplies
- Initiate and/or maintain a cost-effective preventative maintenance program
- Oversee and plan contract work and installations done by outside vendors
- Improve career skills by enrolling in seminars, technical courses and related college courses
- Directs the work of two or more other full-time employees
- Demonstrate ability to teach maintenance classification, qualification requirements and proper maintenance procedures
- Follow up on all work orders to ensure repairs and work are performed properly
- Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed
- Complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
- Perform maintenance cleanup daily, weekly and monthly
- Regular and predictable attendance

- High school diploma or GED.
- Four years maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant
- May be required to maintain a current Forklift Operator license and/or other appropriate certification to work in certain areas or on certain equipment
- Ability to add, to subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to use tape measure; and to use a computer.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
