Injection Molding Machine Operator

OVERVIEW

Packing/ Measuring Plastic parts and tend to automatic equipment utilized in the Injection Molding Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform work according to quality and safety standards set for the operation.
  • Checks appearance of completed parts for compliance with the quality standards set for the operation.
  • Counts, Labels, and packages parts for stock.
  • Start up and shut down injection molding machine and auxiliary equipment throughout molding department
  • Be able to use pallet jack to move stock and plastic material around the molding department.
  • Maintain close observation of machine operations such as alarms, and plastic material supply.
  • Work with manager when machine problems require assistance.
  • Work as a team to help each other and attain daily goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); experience in a Molding department preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English and the ability to communicate well with others.
  • Preferred experience working with manufacturing equipment and/or other environments that use equipment within their role.
