manage land lease communities across the United States!

We are currently hiring for an Accountant in Oak Brook, IL.

Your responsibilities as the Accountant will include:

• Support property managers in your portfolio with rent roll corrections, tenant balances corrections, review and assistance as needed
• Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end close (accruals, depreciation, amortization, capitalization and true-up entries)
• Review and ensure payables have accurate GL codes and proper approvals
• Review and ensure accounts receivable for reasonableness and accuracy; work with property managers to ensure rent roll accuracy.
• Review and process expense approvals
• Analyze variances, review ledger details and record adjusted entries on assigned accounts

Who qualifies for the Accountant role?

• Candidates with at least 5 years of hands on accounting experience
• Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree (Accounting)
• Candidates who are able to work in Excel every day (ability to run and maintain accruals)
• Candidates with financial modeling skills, a plus
• CPA Certification or Certification in process, a plus

What hours will you work as the Accountant?

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Stable, consistent work schedule

How much will you earn as the Accountant?

• Starting pay is $29.00 per hour
• Get paid weekly
