This is a temporary camp position that will run from June 3 to August 9th.
Starting salary is $13 per hour.

Summary/Primary Purpose: Act as Lead Staff in Summer Day Camp, oversees financial, state/federal and The Salvation Army (TSA) policies compliance. Works closely with Corps Officer. This position oversees business and facility operations of summer day camp to include seasonal staff and budgetary functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: Seasonal Camp Staff & Volunteers
Education and/or Experience: Experience/Degree in Education, Childcare or Program Management and/or two years' experience in related field.

Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army and be CPR/First Aid/AED trained.

Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Must be able to frequently be in the sun and/or outside in varying weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but ranges from quiet to loud.
