Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess strong classroom management skills, familiarty with music and creative arts ministries; and be passionate about educating and mentoring youth in a positive Christian environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging programs and activities for youth participants
- Provide mentorship, support, and guidance to youth members
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenges effectively
- Collaborate with After School staff to coordinate events and initiatives
- Incorporate sports coaching and recreational activities into programming
-Secure & Provide Leadership for Creative Arts Ministries including Brass Instrument, Piano, and other lessons. Utlize Volunteers within the community to assist with music & creative arts programs
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or recreational settings
- Knowledge of public speaking, teaching, creative arts & Music special education principles and practices
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred
- Background in early childhood education or related field is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with youth from diverse backgrounds

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.10 - $21.79 per hour
Expected hours: 29 per week
