The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a terrific opportunity for a Divisional IT Manager role at Evangeline Booth College in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, on-site position located on our beautiful campus at 1032 Metropolitan Parkway SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.

Job Summary

Manage the day-to-day operations and administration of the EBC Information Technology Department; including computer system and audio/visual electronic networks; assist with the preparation of the Evangeline Booth College budget as it relates to information system issues; develop curriculum and provide individual/classroom training; ensures continuous, uninterrupted online computer services to computer users at the Evangeline Boothe College; Provides technical expertise and manages technical support to maintain optimal operating level of all computer systems; provides leadership and direction for the IT team; Serves as a technical representative to Territorial Headquarters and outside vendors on behalf of the Evangeline Boothe College

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of the principles and practices of computer programming logic, data, and word processing concepts and practices, Operating systems and database capabilities, installation, and maintenance, microcomputers and peripheral devices, principles and practices of the supervision and management of IT professionals, Microsoft Office and windows operating systems, the process employed to determine the applicability of a specific product to a given functional area; Ability to analyses and resolve problems with hardware and software, debug and troubleshoot programming for windows operating systems, debug and troubleshoot programming for windows operating systems, Identify and obtain resolutions to problems relating to product and its application to a specific needs, determine compatibility between various software programs and hardware, research, select and purchase the most effective products to meet the microcomputer need of the Salvation Army all at economical price, supervise, motivate and evaluate the work of IT personnel, and maintain effective working relationships with Territorial Headquarter employees

Education and Experience

Associate degree in information technology or related field or two years of technical college from an accredited college or university required, and progressively responsible experience in IT Management and business operations leadership, staff supervisory experience, and broad technical expertise in all technology operations and services support by the assigned location, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Licenses and Certifications

One or more relevant Information Technology certifications are required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Work is performed in a normal office environment where there is little or no physical discomfort associated with changes in weather or discomfort associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. A limited amount of physical effort is required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light-medium objects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 per year
