Job Objective:
As the Food Services Manager you will be responsible for all of the food programming for the Evansville Corps. This position will demonstrate Servant Leadership by maintaining involvement with preparation, set-up, and implementation of Food Services initiatives. Primary responsibilities involve the supervisory and administrative aspects of food services, including menu planning, ordering, maintaining inventories, food distribution, and staff training and development. This position will ensure health and sanitation standards within the pantry, kitchen, and dining areas, and maintain an active Servsafe Food Supervisor Certification, ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out in all food services-related areas.
What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Culinary Training required. Culinary Arts or Business/Administrative degree preferred.
Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed. Findings may disqualify an individual for this position.
Experience: Training & Experience in institutional food services preferably at a supervisory level.
Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard. Must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment. ServSafe Food Manager Certification required within 6 months.

Supervisory Responsibility: Supervisory responsibility of Food Services staff, volunteers, and community service workers
