About this opportunity :
The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Social Service Worker for the Frederick, Maryland Corps.
Qualified candidates will :
- Provide social service assistance to eligible clients in the following areas : food, lodging, clothing, furniture, and financial assistance;
- interview clients to determine need and eligibility to receive services;
- refer clients to community agencies and maintains effective working relationships with the same;
- ensure compliance with program policies and procedures
What we are looking for in you :
High school diploma or ,
Two years’ experience working in a social or public service environment with experience assisting the public,
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Valid State Driver’s License (Preferred)
