The Elementary Music Teacher will create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation for music education, in accordance with each pupil's ability; to establish positive relationships with parents and with other staff members. This position may be assigned to more than one elementary school in a given school year. The teacher shall allow for flexible scheduling to work with staff and meet building needs.
1.0 FTE Schedule:
Nasonville Elementary: 7:15 am - 3:15 pm (Mon, Wed, Fri)
Washington Elementary: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm (Tues, Thurs)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in General Music (1515) for grades K-6
Compensation & Benefits:
Aligned to the Professional Staff Compensation Model, with an extensive alternative compensation plan and will pay up to $1,000 toward liquidated damages if currently under contract.
