What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Server $14/hr position at The Service Companies?
Our company is now hiring experienced Catering Attendants to work with one of our clients at local university. We’re hiring reliable staff and offer weekly pay, every Friday with direct deposit.
Event Dates:
- April 20th from 10am - 3pm
- April 21st from 12pm - 8pm or 2pm - 10pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event preparation, set up and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, tablecloths and place settings.
- Support other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety and quality food regulations.
- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven work experience as an Event Server or similar role.
- Clear background check.
- Must wear a mask.
- Courteous and attentive to guests.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as staying on your feet, climbing stairs and carrying heavy objects.
- Must be comfortable carrying an oval tray.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Server.
Physical Demands:
- This job may require extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting and kneeling up to 8 hours.
- May also lift up to 50lbs.
