Description
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the input of new loan information into the computer system and obtain required information to setup new loan files. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Entry Level
- Bridge loans from LOS system to Servicing system
- Complete new loan set checklist
- Input new loan information into the computer system and obtain required information to set-up loan files.
- Ensure all escrow account information is entered according to closing docs
- Balancing escrow deposit to initial escrow statement
- Review of all documentation to ensure all required documents are included in the loan file.
- Review disclosures and documents for compliance.
- Must be able to perform all responsibilities and functions listed for Level I with high degree of efficiency and independence
- Responsible for the training of the new and current New Loan Set-up
- Weekly reporting to Servicing Director and Servicing Supervisor on new loan setup progress.
- Weekly generation of New Loan Welcome Packets.
- Process GNMA purchase advice.
- Process Loan Closing proceeds
- Process purchase advice for loan investors.
Required:
- Thorough knowledge of first mortgage real estate lending practices, including federal regulatory requirements, state regulations, agency and Credit Union requirements.
- Familiarity with AllRegs.
- MS Office.
- Reporting, letter preparation, group presentation and other related communications skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to attend meetings or perform other assignments at locations outside the office, if necessary.
- Familiarity with a mortgage loan closing package and its documents.
- Experience with the Encompass LOS system.
- Familiarity with Tax Service vendor Lereta and Insurance Service vendor Allied Solutions.
- Familiarity with Netronline.com to research tax parcels.
