Developmental Disabilities Opportunities
The Shield Institute is a human service agency that offers a variety of services for children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker to work in our Article 16 Clinic. Caseload conducting psychotherapy with adults with developmental disabilities. Also conduct psychosocial and psychosexual evaluations on a regular weekly basis with children and adults with developmental disabilities. Excellence in writing and completing all documentation required. Travel required in the Bronx and Queens.
- School Social Worker to work in our Queens Preschool/School Age special education program. Must have LMSW/LCSW and NYS School Social Worker certification. Performs intake screenings and provides clinical treatment programs.
- School Social Worker to work in our Bronx Preschool special education program. Must have LMSW/LCSW and NYS School Social Worker certification. Performs intake screenings and provides clinical treatment programs.
