What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Associate position at The Shine Collective?
As a Talent Associate, you'll play a crucial role in building our Shine Collective Professional team of passionate individuals who are driven to make a difference in their career. You'll be responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process, from school partnerships, sourcing, preparing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires.
Responsibilities:
- School partnerships and preparing candidates:
- Determining the school strategy for High School and Community college outreach
- Working with the schools to build a strong talent pipeline
- Training potential candidates in resume and interview skills.
- Sourcing and Screening Candidates:
- Proactively identify and attract top talent through various channels (online job boards, career fairs/training sessions with schools, referrals, etc.).
- Screen resumes and cover letters to identify the most qualified candidates for open positions.
- Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate fit and experience.
- Recruitment and Interview Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Prepare interview materials and candidate profiles.
- Assist with interview logistics and follow-up communication.
- Offer and Onboarding:
- Present competitive offers to top candidates, in coordination with the partner companies.
- Coordinate onboarding paperwork and logistics with hiring manager and partner company HR team.
- Data and Reporting:
- Track and analyze recruitment data to identify trends and improve efficiency.
- Prepare reports and presentations on recruitment activities and results.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage postings on social media channels.
- Manage website and career page.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What to expect:
- Hired as a contractor to work 10 to 15 hours a week
- Pay to be $25 to $30 and hour
- Remote work but ability to travel to schools and partner company sites for training/career fair as needed
