Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the establishment
- Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Handle cash and credit transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory
- Assist with inventory control, including ordering and receiving paper, food, produce, liquor, beer, wine
- Assist in food preparation and ensure quality standards are met
- Manage shifts and schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels & participate shoulder to shoulder daily during shifts to ensure guest expectation is exceeded consistently
- Utilize POS system for order processing, payments, and reporting
Skills:
- Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and possess strong math skills
- Knowledge of inventory control practices to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
- Experience in hospitality management, restaurants specifically
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints effectively
- Familiarity with shift management, including opening/closing procedures and cash reconciliation
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Experience working with draft beer, craft cocktails, and wine is a plus
