We are a leading natural soap, bath bomb, and lotion company under new ownership seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Manager / Production Manager to join our team. Our company is undergoing significant changes and will be overhauling all existing production lines to enhance efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met.
- Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Overhaul all production lines and revamp processes from the ground up to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Manage a team of production staff, providing training and support to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production and product quality.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead the effort to obtain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification for the factory.
- Ensure all production lines meet GMP quality standards, including setting up quality control systems and processes.
- Think on your feet and develop innovative solutions to production challenges.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management role.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing them.
- Excellent IT skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably with implementation experience.
- Ability to think on your feet, be imaginative, and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing principles and best practices.
- Experience with GMP standards and quality control systems is highly desirable.
