The Ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter. They will either have admissions experience or extensive phone experience. Our culture is a family fun environment. EDUCATION:
High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one-year admissions experience in substance abuse and/or a minimum of one year of experience in a partial hospitalization program or other mental health setting.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to work as a team member and have management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs.
Highly Organized.
Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal & Written Communication Skills.
Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws.
Able to generate pipeline reports.
Knowledge of the use of Salesforce and or KIPU a plus
Ability to perform Live Verification of Benefits and admissions assessments.
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Detailed-oriented and working in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and team-orientated.
Experienced and skilled in the admissions process for addiction treatment centers.
Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Suite
Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
Knowledge of Workplace Violence Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
Answer inbound calls, chart submissions, and email requests for services.
Generate outbound calls.
Conduct pre-screening and assessments with potential patients.
Utilize quality customer service and provide knowledgeable answers to questions related to the admissions and treatment processes.
Responsible for obtaining demographic and financial information during inquiry calls.
Knowledge of addiction and mental health.
Complies with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
Share pertinent information with treatment team as obtained from client, client’s family members, or significant others.
Continue with educational courses and in-service training, per policies and procedures.
Respond positively to changing situations in the work setting.
Work as a team member, demonstrating maturity under stress and objectivity.
Able to accept supervision and support.
Perform other capacities as needed.
