The Assistant Manager must be able to conduct all aspect of the Venue’s business. From sales, to operations, to facility upkeep, to sound financial keeping. The Assistant Manager must be extremely vigilant so as to maintain complete integrity in each of these critical business aspects. The company expects a welcoming and kind demeanor to ALL persons to whom the Assistant Manager interacts with.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assistant Manager reports to the General Manager and will assist the GM with any duty or responsibility as deemed necessary.
Must be driven in the area of sales and be able to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives.
Ensures office is opened on schedule and ready for business each morning
Provides tours of the venue to prospective clients utilizing company sales techniques, communication skills and closing techniques.
Answers incoming phone calls politely and professionally, whether the caller is a prospective client, a client, an internal company team member, or a vendor.
Participates in regular training meetings and company meetings.
Along with the GM, responsible for organizing and facilitating all open houses and bridal garage sales.
Follows through immediately on client issues to satisfactory resolution
Under the direction of the GM, will handle complaints, cancellation of event dates, refund requests, and other vendor and client issues as outlined in the employee handbook.
Must be willing to be on call during event days as directed by the GM
Must be able to work weekends and over time when called upon
Conducts themselves in a professional, business-like manner. Has the ability to maintain a positive and happy attitude in a time of stress and conflict.
