SQUASH COACH
Position Description
The St. James is seeking for a SQUASH COACH at its Springfield, VA location. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with accomplished, as well as those with little or no squash experience. As our program continues to grow, we are looking to bring on an additional teaching pro to provide coaching services, offer knowledge and expertise, as well as help grow our newly formed academy. This role will report to the Squash Manager.

Job Requirements
- This person shares the vision of the Squash Manger, and will dedicate their time in the facility, and on court to achieving those goals
- Ability to work as a member of a team and collaborate with other coaches
- Understands, and has an appreciation for, the way squash players are meant to conduct themselves on court, and can instill those values in our athletes
- Eligible to work in the United States
- An eagerness, and ability to interact with players of all ages and levels off the court. Including encouraging people to participate in other squash program offerings
- Ability and willingness to work, and interact, with those new to the sport
Job qualifications
- Two or more years of successful coaching experience with high level juniors.
- Experience with JCT level players preferred.
- Collegiate playing experience and certifications are a plus.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Background check and drug screen required.
- Knowledgeable of safety training, procedures and best practices used throughout the sports and wellness industry.
