Certified Medical Assistant - Back Office

Glen Burnie, MD

Compensation & Schedule :

  • Full-time, 8 hour days
  • Clinic Hours : 8a - 8p
  • Most days will be 8a - 5p but must be able to work the occasional 11 : 30a - 8p
  • Every other Saturday for 4 hours
  • $17.30 - $20.14 depending on experience
  • $1,000 Sign On Bonus
  • Full Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 403B with Match

Requirements :

  • Required - Minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Required - Certified Medical Assistant
  • Certificates Accepted : AAMA, AMT, NHA, NAHP, or ARMA ONLY
  • Required - Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
  • Preferred - 1 year of Clinical experience

Responsibilities :

  • Back office, supporting 1 provider
  • Family Medicine Practice (All ages)
  • Collects and records data regarding vital signs (pulse, temperature, respiration, blood pressure, weight, height.
  • Assists in implementing the plan of care by collecting specimens, administering treatments and injections, assisting with procedures and GYN exams, recording changes in health status, and assisting clinicians and nurses in the delivery of care
