What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The Stage Coach Grille?
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team at our lively downtown bar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for serving a large number of customers at one time and will have previous experience in a high volume, fast-paced setting. A successful candidate has experience taking orders and is familiar with industry terms like "neat", "dirty" and "up".
Base wage depending on experience tips.
Responsibilities:
- Mix drinks to customer satisfaction.
- Know how to use a cash register.
- Resolve customer complaints by suggesting another drink, or other remedies if needed.
- Be courteous to all customers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of ingredients of popular drinks, beer, wine, and cocktails.
- Demonstrate knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers by being able to describe the basic characteristics of each.
