Assistant General Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in managing the fast-paced operations and staff of restaurant. The Assistant Manager will:
Maintain fast, accurate service and positive guest relations
Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
Work collaboratively with the management team to meet budgeted sales goals
Manage food, labor, paper costs, and other controllable expenses
Execute company policies and procedures for the control of cash, property, product, and equipment
Monitor inventory levels through ordering to ensure product availability
Manage and maintain safe working conditions
Manage crew employees in a manner that maximizes crew retention
Assist the General Manager in developing Crew Members and Shift Supervisors, to prepare them for growth within the company
Interview and recommend team members for selection in hiring
Provide proper training of team members, ensuring compliance with company standards
Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action
Uphold the company’s social responsibility values and ethical practices
Required Skills/Abilities:
High School diploma or equivalent (some college a plus)
One or more years' restaurant experience
Open / flexible work availability
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
All employees in a management or supervisory position within these Restaurants must possess a Serve-Safe Certification within 6 months of their hire date. May also need to obtain state-specific certifications. We will help you obtain these certifications.

We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all aspects of the business, including the management of staff, customers, and the restaurant's financial performance. The GM will also be responsible for the development and management of the company's sales and service policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be an effective leader and have extensive knowledge of food production and culinary techniques.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
·Overseeing all aspects of the business, including the management of staff, customers, and the restaurant’s financial performance.
·Developing food production and culinary procedures and policies.
·Food safety procedures and quality control.
·Developing sales and service policies and procedures.
·Food quality control including sanitation and safety.
·Developing quality standards for product presentation.
·Assisting in developing menu items to meet customer needs.
·Assisting in developing marketing strategies to increase company’s presence in the market.
·Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
·Ensuring quality standards are maintained.
·Keeping records of business activities (e.g., sales records).
·Performing other duties as assigned by Management.
Experience:
·1 year as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant or food service industry required (preferred if located in Elmsford, NY).
