POSITION SUMMARY:
These full-time positions are in the Office of Executive Investigations, reporting to the Professional Standards Unit, Customer Service Section.
This position coordinates the receipt, response and tracking of customer service complaints and correspondences to individuals and/or agencies requesting assistance from FDLE in accordance with the Florida Customer Service Standards Act and Agency policy.

Crime Intelligence Analyst I
$36,468.02 – Bachelor’s degree*
Crime Intelligence Analyst II
$38,146.42 – Bachelor’s degree* and one year of law enforcement analytical** experience.
Senior Crime Intelligence Analyst I
$42,206.00 – Bachelor’s degree* and three years of law enforcement analytical** experience.
Senior Crime Intelligence Analyst II
$49,043.00 – Bachelor’s degree* and five years of law enforcement analytical** experience.
**Law enforcement analytical experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year- for-year basis. Law enforcement analytical experience is defined as “professional experience in criminal intelligence, military intelligence, crime analysis, or criminal justice.”
Starting salary will be at the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE’s pay policy and is determined by the applicant’s education and experience. Future vacancies may be filled from this position advertisement. These CIA positions are included in FDLE’s Crime Intelligence Analyst Progression Plan. The plan provides professional development training and advancement opportunities to enhance FDLE’s investigative strategy and promote development within the crime analysis field.

Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating strong skills in critical thinking; analytical research and interpretation; intelligence report writing; developing and delivering oral presentations; and the ability to operate independently within a professional environment in both directed and self-directed projects.
