Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.


Pay: $44,000 - $46,000 Annually, commensurate with experience.


Position Summary: This position is in the Advocancy & Grants Unit within the Division of Victim Services.


Qualifications: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 1 year of administrative experience in the areas of accounting, banking, accounts receivable, payroll processing or other related field;

or 5 years of administrative experience as described above.

Professional or nonprofessional experience in the areas of accounting, banking, accounts receivable, payroll processing or other related field can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.


Preference may be given to those with previous grant management experience.


The Work You Will Do: The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Prepare technical reviews of grant applications to ensure compliance with the grant program.
  • Conduct on-site monitoring, desk audits, and reviews for program compliance and prepares reports of findings and corrective action needed.
  • Review and recommend for approval change requests and invoices submitted by subgrantees.
  • Provide technical assistance to subgrantees on program requirements.
  • Monitor budget, expenditure, and reporting requirements of subgrantees.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of grant management, including budget, expenditure, report, and correspondence requirements of the grant program.
  • Prepare periodic progress and evaluation reports on grant activities.
  • Complete special assignments and perform related duties as assigned
