Your Specific Responsibilities:
This position will serve as the professional assistant to the Communicable Diseases medical professional section and will provide professional level administrative assistance. Work involves the performance of administrative activities, which include independently planning administrative objectives and priorities to enhance team efficiency and to assist with the implementation of prevention, identification and treatment of infectious diseases policies and procedures.
Responsible for providing general office assistance as requested. Assist staff as requested with preparations, scheduling and set-up, scheduling meetings, and maintain staff meeting schedule. Knowledge of Microsoft Teams will be required.
Responsible for monitoring and tracking assignments by setting up, establishing, organizeing, and maintaining an efficient and complete assignment tracking process.
Assist staff with preparing internal and external correspondence for review and approval. Prepare communications, such as memo, emails, agendas, meeting minutes, reports and other correspondence.
Work involves the knowledge of medical terminology to independently plan administrative objectives and priorities to enhance team efficiency and to assist with the implementation of, prevention, identification, and treatment of infectious diseases policies and procedures.
