Job Title: Laborer
FLSA Status: (Non-exempt)
Summary:
Perform tasks involving physical labor at shop and job sites. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites materials and vehicles, may assist other craft workers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor
- Operate hand and power tools: saws, iron working machinery, and a variety of other equipment and instruments
- Maintain cleanliness of shop and job site
- Organizes workload throughout the day to meet project timelines and deadlines
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team and management
- Perform tasks in the shop as needed
- Follow all safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Able to pass a drug test
- Able to work flexible work hours with limited advance notice
Education and/or Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience performing general labor tasks in a shop or on a job site
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to reach, squat, and bend
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
