SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned as company’s needs dictate.
Informs Department Supervisor of any discrepancies.
Enters orders into computer, and assigns estimated ship dates.
Records or files copy of orders received in customer files.
Ships orders on the system. Verifies that amount on packing list matches amount on "uninvoiced shipment's" list.
E-mails packing list to customer.
Initiates purchase requisitions for office supplies.
Compiles a list of all open orders for each customer and e-mails to customer on the 1st of each month.
Confers with production, shipping, or warehouse to expedite shipments.
Compiles all shipping documents and files them by customer and ship date.
Compiles data and prepares forecast reports for management on a monthly basis.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
